What is Caring Through Sharing?
Every year the Issaquah School District and our PTSA team up to help bring joy to underprivileged kids at holiday time. This year we will provide gifts for 10 children in our area. This is an excellent opportunity for your child to participate in community giving and help another child feel special this holiday season.
How Does It Work?
It’s fun and it’s easy. A permission slip will be sent home with your child this week. Please sign and return it to school with your child November 20 - 29. Participation is completely voluntary! Please fill out one permission slip per child. Students will bring the permission slip to lunch and select a gift tag from our giving display on the stage. Gifts will range in price from $10 to $25. Shop with your child for the gift, and turn in the unwrapped gift at school the first week in December.
Important Dates!
November 20 – 29 Permission slip turn-in/gift tag selection
December 6 – 8 Gift turn in at school
December 8 Volunteer wrapping party after school
We hope you will share some joy with other families in our community this year. Thank you for your kindness.
