Judy Moody & her little brother Stink will be celebrated in grand style the weekend of October 12th & 13th. The author of the books, Megan McDonald, will be on hand at all the festivities. Books will be available for sale through All for Kids Bookstore, which is sponsoring the events. Friday, October 12 the event will be held at the Sammamish Library beginning at 4 pm. There will be a visual presentation given by Ms. McDonald, and also book sales, signings, activities, contests, and prizes. On Saturday, October 13, the Sammamish Mayor, Mark Cross will be on hand to officially declare it a Judy Moody Celebration. The location for this day is Discovery Elementary, 2300 228th Ave. SE, 98029, on the Issaquah Plateau. Wear warm clothes, because we will be outside, and all Stink wants for Christmas is SNOW! There will be more activities, crafts, contests and prizes, and, of course, book sales and signing by Megan McDonald.
