Please give a special congratulations to this year's winners of our annual awards.
Outstanding Educators - Ms. Platt (4th grade teacher) and Ms. Schneider (5th grade teacher)
Outstanding Advocates - Ms. Kruse (Music Teacher) and Ms. White (Art Teacher)
Golden Acorn Volunteers - Leigha Bice and Adina Balan
All nominations come from our school community members and they shared such kind and heartfelt comments about all the people who make our school a great community. Thank you!
Many thanks to Maha, Pooja and Jillian for coordinating this year's awards.
Our Discovery PTSA is excited to host
Popsicles on the Playground
at Discovery all summer thanks to our Discovery parent volunteers
Please help us offer more Popsicles on the Playground/summer playdates by emailing PTSA so we can add your date and time to the calendar. We will post it and share dates with our Discovery community. You can also host a meetup at Pine Lake Park or another local park too! No experience needed - just need a friendly face and the popsicles provided by the PTSA. Thanks!
Our Discovery PTSA website is always the most up to date for current PTSA programs and events. Each event is run by parent volunteers and we need parent committees (you never have to do anything on your own!) for each event so reach out with your interest! There is something for everyone!
Please reach out to us with any questions at askdiscoveryptsa@gmail.com.
