Discovery Math Club is for 4th and 5th graders who are interested in taking their math skills to the next level! The Math Club will meet mornings before school, and the kids will be exposed to advanced math concepts. Beginning in November, the kids will compete in online and local math competitions (Knights of Pi, Math is Cool, Math League & Math Olympiad) against kids from other schools.
We can also use a few more parent coaches to help run the club. If you can commit to lead a group of eager puzzle solvers at least once per month, please contact Kasturi Balasubramanian at kasthurib@yahoo.com for more information. |
